The Green Line’s southern extension of 2010 strung a series of stops along the Ballyogan Road corridor, and Leopardstown Valley is one of them. It was placed to serve the residential area of Leopardstown and the shopping centre that carries the same name, both of which lie within a short walk of the platforms.

Beyond that the record is thin. There is no car park and no cycle parking here, and the stop is a straightforward pair of platforms at the roadside rather than anything rebuilt from an older structure. Go-Ahead Ireland’s route L27 calls, linking the stop to Carrickmines village and Cabinteely and running on to Monkstown and Dún Laoghaire. The Gallops is the call towards town and Ballyogan Wood the one beyond.
