Kylemore Luas stop
Luas Red Line · An Choill Mhóir
About Kylemore
Kylemore was built to virtually the same design as Bluebell, its neighbour towards town: a length of reserved track in the wide central reservation of the Naas Road, with the dual carriageway running on either side. It opened with the Red Line in 2004 and is named for Kylemore Road, which crosses nearby. In Irish it is An Choill Mhóir.
The stop serves Walkinstown and the streets behind the dual carriageway, together with Kylemore College and the St James Gaels GAA grounds. West of here the line leaves the built-up road for a long run out to Red Cow and the M50, with no stop in between.
